Job description
Protocol Education are looking for Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants that are looking for short term or long term positions in the Easter term, this will require you to work with a range of Primary School children including special needs such as autism (ASD), speech and language difficulties and challenging behaviour across the North East. We have positions available in Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead and Newcastle.

As a Learning Support Assistant, successful candidates will need the following experience and skills:
• Experience working within the child care sector
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviour. (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
• Be able to differentiate work to support needs of children.
• Experience in personal care such as feeding and changing. (desirable)
• PECS and Makaton experience desirable
