A specialist primary SEN school in Sunderland is looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, communication needs and moderate learning difficulties.

Location: Sunderland
Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm


The Role

• Supporting structured classroom learning
• Delivering small group interventions
• Supporting communication strategies
• Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation


Experience Requirements

Essential:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting

Desirable:

• Experience supporting SEN pupils
• Knowledge of autism and communication needs


Daily Structure

• 8:30am start
• Structured learning environment
• 4:00pm finish


Dress Code

• Smart-casual and practical
• Comfortable footwear
