Job description
A very well-established school in Wandsworth are looking for an enthusiastic, committed person with a minimum of BSL Level 2 skills and experience of working with young Deaf children. This unique role will be supporting students with visual and hearing impairments in in a school in Wandsworth, South West London.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Establish a supportive relationship with the student assigned to.

• To support the students learning, independence and to help them to develop their confidence.

• Provide one to one support throughout the day.

• Ensuring the students are safe, not at risk of potential dangers and providing a supportive approach.

As the students are hearing impaired, the candidate MUST be a minimum level two in BSL. Candidates who are not certified in British Sign Language will not be considered for this post.
