Job description
A vibrant Primary School located in Islington is looking to appoint an outgoing and inspirational Level 2 or 3 qualified Teaching Assistant from January 2018 or sooner to work in either EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. The role will involve assisting the class teacher with the daily running of the class, behaviour management of students and ensuring every student is developing within the classroom. The school has recently been praised for its exciting methods of learning and it's SLT for the support they offer their staff.

Days: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm)
Year Groups: EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Start Date: January 2018 or sooner

The successful candidate must;

• Evidence of Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Demonstrate successful experience within a Primary School Setting
• Excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum and be able to organise group and individual activities
• Consistently high expectations of all pupils - observe pupils progress and feedback to the class teacher
• Outstanding team work - take direction from the class teacher and SLT
• Positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Excellent behaviour management
• A high regard for inclusion and equality
• The ability to make a positive contribution to the school as a whole

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44
