We’re working with welcoming secondary schools across Tower Hamlets who are looking for dedicated Learning Tutors to support pupils across KS3 and KS4. These roles focus on small group and 1:1 support, helping students close gaps, boost confidence, and feel good about learning again.

This isn’t about standing at the front delivering lessons all day. It’s about impact. Targeted support. Real progress.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions in core subjects

• Supporting pupils who need extra academic or emotional guidance

• Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to track progress

• Helping students build study skills, organisation, and resilience

• Creating a calm, focused learning space where pupils can thrive

You’ll be the steady presence. The confidence builder. The one who helps them realise, “Actually… I can do this.”

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience working with secondary-aged students

• Hold a degree or relevant qualification

• Are confident supporting English, Maths, or Science

• Have experience with SEND, SEMH, or intervention work, a bonus but not essential

• Bring patience, positivity, and strong behaviour management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
