Job description
Behaviour Support Assistant Waltham Forest

Teaching Assistants (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred) with excellent behaviour management required for long term position available in an 'Outstanding' mainstream primary schools based in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Position is full time, to commence immediately and run until the end of the academic year.

The post will require support of children, aged 4-11 years (predominately on a one to one basis) within the class. You will need to be flexible, have enthusiasm, motivation, good communication skills and the ability to work with small groups on specific programmes if required.

Minimum of 6 months experience working with children, in a school setting is required.

Experience in working with children with special needs would be an advantage as would previous training in Behaviour Management including Team Teach.

The role is conveniently located in East London 45 minutes from Central London. The schools are interesting and varied, exploring beliefs and focusing on development of each individual.
