An Independent, special Primary school based in the scenic area of Wandsworth, is currently recruiting passionate and eager individuals to join their team of learning support assistants.

The school caters to Primary aged pupils from the ages of 4-13-year olds who have moderate to severe autism. The school is run by a massive UK charity for children with special needs, which has allowed the school to become the excellent establishment that it is today.

What would your role entail?
-Working during school terms, from the hours of 08:30 to 4:00pm.
-Assisting children and young adults who have autism in a small classroom-based environment.
-Being able to assist the class teacher in ensuring that the children are both looked after and taught to the utmost standard.

What would you need to qualify for the role?
-An enhanced DBS disclosure on the update service or willingness to undertake one.
-Previous experience of working with vulnerable children or adults within the past 3 years.
-A passion for working with special needs and wanting to help others.
