Protocol Education are looking for Learning Support Assistants to work in a Special Needs School in Bristol. We are looking for enthusiastic, supportive candidates who are able to support in a Severe Learning Disabilities unit (SLD) within the school and support with challenging behaviour.

The school caters for children who have severe SEND needs and complex needs who need 1:1 support. You will be a huge part of their day, from welcoming them in the morning from their transport to supporting them with daily tasks, their individual learning plans (EHCP's), supervising at break times, working 1:1 on their learning and potentially some personal care, dependant on pupil.

Role: Learning Support Assistant

Hours: Full time 830am - 330pm

Start Date: Monday 4th January 2021

Location: Bristol

Requirements: SEND experience (preferred)

The ideal candidate will be professional and passionate about SEND/SEMH and supporting children with additional needs and being fully able to adapt themselves to meet each individual needs, including excellent behaviour management.
