Job description
Protocol Education are currently working closely with a special school that is looking for an experienced tutor or learning support assistant to join their effective team on long term supply.

The school are looking for long term supply to cover immediately for the rest of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff. This role would be supporting and delivering lessons and activity based sessions on a one to one or delivering to small groups. Ages of students range from 8 to 18, with the majority of students being KS4 and KS3 learners. Activities and lessons are delivered across a range of sites and some is also delivered at students homes or in the community. This then requires all candidates to have a full clean driving licence.

Students that attend this school have a range of needs and areas of support required, from Social Emotional and Mental Health support, behavioural issues or ASD. Experience working in behavioural settings is desired, and additional restraint training such as MAPA or Team Teach is also desirable but not essential.

This exciting opportunity allows you to engage with learners, complete a range of learning activities and vocational courses and see the positive impact you can have on learners.
