An Outstanding primary school based in Doncaster are on the hunt for an Autism Support Worker.

You will be tasked with supporting a wide variety of needs including Autism, Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Speech and Language and more! The students' needs vary in severity some will be verbal, some non-verbal. If you have any experience with children aged 5 - 11 with SEN (ASD, PMLD, SLD etc) we would love to hear from you!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant

· £60 - £80 per day

· Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis (ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L and more)

· Liaising with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding progress of children

· Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children

· Delivering specialist interventions

· Liaising with the school's therapists

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

· Autism Support Worker / SEN Teaching Assistant

· Experience of supporting children (5 - 11) with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L - Ideal

· Childcare related experience, ideally with a SEN focus

· You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable

· A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
