We’re working with a group of brilliant mainstream primary schools in Lewisham looking for Learning Support Assistants who can jump in and make a difference—whether that’s helping pupils catch up, supporting with behaviour, or giving one-to-one attention when it’s needed most.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting individual pupils or small groups with their learning

Helping to manage routines, transitions, and behaviour

Working alongside class teachers and SENCOs to deliver inclusive learning

Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may need that little bit extra
The perfect fit for this role is someone who:

Has experience working with children (school-based or otherwise)
-
Can commit to full-time, term-time work in Lewisham
-
Brings patience, energy, and a positive attitude to the classroom

Understands how to support children with a variety of learning needs, including SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
