We are looking for experienced support specialists to join Protocol Education and work in small groups and on a one to one basis in a secondary academy based in Middlesbrough. The school have a supportive SENco who will support with information and guidance on the support needed with students. Funding has been allocated for 3 support specialists until July 2021 but the school hope to have further funding allocated for this to continue.
The school are looking for staff who have prior experience of working with a variety of SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behaviour that challenges. The ideal candidates will be hard working, passionate about making a difference to students and reliable.

• Supporting SEN pupil's on a 1:1 basis in the classroom with needs such as Autism, Global Delay, SEMH
• Providing targeted support outside of the classroom (Numeracy/Literacy/Reading/Writing/Phonics)
• Work on differentiated activities with small groups of students
• Liaise with the SENCO/Inclusion manager to deliver SEN provision
• Developing social/emotional skills (depending on individual need)
• Working with class teachers to monitor progress of pupils
• Accompanying pupils to relevant therapy sessions (depending on individual need)
