We are currently recruiting for SEND schools in the Dudley area seeking learning support assistants to assist with SEMH.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs in a learning environment or working in a similar role such as counselling or therapist. You will offer the student therapeutic support and academic support, you will work alongside the schools Learning Mentor and SENDCO.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

• Have worked with Mental Health or Social and Emotional Needs
• Worked within a therapeutic role
• Able to build positive relationships with children
• Have a calm and flexible approach to teaching
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A high regard for inclusion and equality
