KS2 Learning Support Assistant

A progressive school in North London - Edgware is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with KS2 children with SEMH and ASD needs. This position is for at least one academic year from September 2020. You will be working 1:1 and with small groups of children under the guidance of the Class Teacher. The school is rated Good' by Ofsted and is striving to be Outstanding'. The children are friendly and eager to learn, and the staff are very supportive.

The successful candidate will have:

×At least one years' experience working with children, preferably in an education
×An interest in supporting children with SEMH and ASD needs
×Good Literacy and numeracy skills
×A great understanding of behaviour strategies
×Ideally you will also have an NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistant or equivalent
