Full-Time | September Start | Long-Term Opportunity with Permanent Potential

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support students across KS3 and KS4 in lessons
  • Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions
  • Help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual goals
  • Work closely with teachers to adapt learning activities and resources
  • Support students with SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Dyslexia and SEMH needs where required
  • Encourage confidence, independence and active participation in lessons
  • Build positive relationships that help students feel safe, motivated and engaged

You'll become a valued member of the school's Inclusion team, playing an important role in helping every student reach their potential.

We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
  • Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors, Youth Workers and Support Workers are encouraged to apply
  • Graduates considering a career in teaching or educational psychology are welcomed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, patient and adaptable individuals
  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
