Job description
Special Needs Primary Teaching Assistant
Windsor and Maidenhead

The school i'm currently working with in the borough of Maidenhead are seeking to employ additional support staff to work with primary aged children with autism.

The aim of the school is to provide a suitable environment with a high level of therapeutic support and excellent teaching to allow pupils with autism to achieve their full potential and to make the most of their intelligence, focus and skills.
The ideal candidate would have a proven record of supporting SEN students and a background of working with autism would be desirable.

The school is a 15minute walk from Maidenhead train station.

To be eligible to apply for this position, you will need to be available to start immediately, as well as being able to commit to working 8.30am - 4.00pm.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
