Job description
The Role

The school based in Barnet, now wishes to recruit an experienced Learning Support Assistant with at least a NVQ Level 3 qualification, to support their SEN team. The successful candidate will need to have experience of dealing with young children with ASD/ADHD combined with a patient and positive attitude towards the educational and social development of pupils. In addition, the successful candidate will support students with a variety of SEN needs, which may include Speech Language and Communications Needs (SLCN), and hearing-visual disabilities in a main stream school.

Candidate’s Skills/Experience

• Demonstrable track record of success gained in their professional career to date

• Relevant skills and experiences gained within an SEN setting either in a mainstream or specialist organisation

• Highly professional individual which is able to work with the minimum of supervision

• Self-motivated, friendly, honest, energetic, enthusiastic with a real passion for learning and meeting the individual needs of the students
