We are currently looking for someone to fill the role of learning support assistant for a SEND school in Chessington. The school aims to help children develop through praise, enjoyment and consistent work. The position will involve working with children in a classroom to encourage independence and personal growth. You will be supporting a class teacher as well as working one to one with children to assist them with their additional needs. You will have the support of a strong multidisciplinary team in a small class setting to give the students the best education possible.

The position: you will be working as an LSA, supporting students 1:1 or in small groups. Classes are small with only 6-8 students with high staff to student ratios. You will be working Monday to Friday in term time from the hours of 8:30am-4pm

You will need:
-Passion for supporting children challenged with SEND.
-Creativity and enthusiasm.
-An enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service. (Or be willing to complete this)
-Experience working with children in the past 3 years.
