Job description
Learning Support Assistant for a Secondary School in Hounslow.

I am currently looking for a motivated Learning Support Assistant to work in one of my schools in Hounslow. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive and engaging environment where a strong ethos and values are key.

The School is looking for someone who has a good general knowledge of English and Maths up to GCSE level, it would be an advantage if you were also educated to degree level or have gained an NVQ level 2 or 3 as a teaching assistant, however these qualifications are not essential. The most important thing is that you have the ability to deal with challenging behaviour as well as having excellent interpersonal skills to be able to engage and encourage the students that you will be working with.

Experience of working in a similar role or of working directly with students with learning difficulties or disabilities is also desirable.

Salary is dependent on experience.

If you're interested please get in touch by responding to this advert or alternatively you can email with your CV and covering letter to mwilliams@protocol-education.com

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
