Job description
An effective and small SEMH Secondary school are looking for a dependable Support Assistant/ Behaviour Mentor who would be excited to become part of a close-knit team!

For this role you must be a conscientious individual who can show a desire to work with children who have additional needs. You must show the ability to establish yourself as a role model to the pupils, showcasing the traits required for future success.

At this school, as a Support Assistant/ Behaviour Mentor you will be moving throughout the school to match demand and you will be giving students the academic and emotional support they need to thrive.

The school works with pupils who have been excluded or cannot attend main stream school aged 11 - 16. There are many reasons a pupil may not be able to attend, anxiety, disruptive behaviour, mental health needs are all some of the reasons a pupil may not be able to attend a mainstream school.

This role would be temporary to start immediately and ongoing with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff.
