A specialist school committed to support children with a diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorders and social communication difficulties based in the borough of Southwark close to the South Bermondsey Station. Are currently looking for a learning support assistant who has experience working in a behaviour mentor role.

The school has a child-centred approach so that they can deliver a high-quality education for all their pupils. They ensure that every child has a voice and that they are listened to. The atmosphere that the school promotes is praised by parents and carers when they visit, and the children can't wait to come to school every morning.

You don't need any relevant teaching qualifications for this role but working with children for at least 3 months in last year is essential.

Requirement for this role:

·Being a secure person for a designated group of students and providing them with support.
·Being able to develop a holistic approach to meeting behaviour needs.
·Interact with students with a therapeutic approach.
·Ensure that learners stay on task and report their progress.
