Learning Support Assistants required
Roles available in Secondary and SEND schools across Sunderland and South Tyneside to start immediately or September working Monday-Friday (term time only).
As part of your role as a learning support assistant you will be required to work with children, aged between 11-16 with Special Educational Needs. Some children may have SEMH (social, emotional and mental health), therefore the ability to deescalate challenging behaviour and build a rapport with children is essential.
We will consider candidates from a range of backgrounds, such as care and youth workers, arts and drama specialists and graduates with an interest in teaching or working in educational psychology. As part of the Protocol Education team you will also be given access to training and accredited teaching and learning qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
