Protocol Education is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within a welcoming and inclusive school in Basildon.

The Role
As a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to a pupil with ASD throughout the school day.
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with the student.
- Support communication, emotional regulation, and social development.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure the best outcomes.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Is patient, caring, and empathetic.
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Is proactive, adaptable, and positive in their approach.
- Is committed to making a real difference in a child's educational journey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
