Protocol Education is working with a number of inclusive schools across Sunderland that are looking to recruit Learning Support Assistants for the upcoming academic year.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities
• Supporting learning, engagement and participation
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social development
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff
• Monitoring pupil progress and wellbeing

What we're looking for

• Experience working with children or young people
• A caring and supportive nature
• Strong communication skills
• A willingness to learn and adapt
• Willingness to travel across Sunderland and surrounding areas
• Driving is beneficial but not essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
