Protocol Education is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work within a friendly and supportive secondary school in South Tyneside. As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping students access learning, build confidence and overcome barriers to education. You'll become a trusted adult who helps make school a positive experience every day.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting learning in lessons across a range of subjects.
• Working with individuals or small groups.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
• Helping students develop confidence, independence and social skills.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
