Protocol Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a Secondary School in Darlington. You'll be supporting a student on 1:1 to with SEMH needs by encouraging engagement, promoting positive behaviour, and helping create a safe learning environment.

This role is ideal for people with resilience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support young people. Previous classroom experience is useful, but we are equally interested in individuals who are eager to learn and make a difference.

You will:

• Support pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis.
• Promote inclusion throughout the school day.
• Encourage independence and confidence.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and families.
• Help create a safe and engaging learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
