We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Longwell Green (BS30) looking for a full-time, permanent Learning Partner to support a pupil with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. This isn’t a short-term fix, it’s a chance to build real relationships, see progress over time, and become a familiar, trusted face in the classroom.

The role at a glance:

• Longwell Green (BS30)
• ⏰ Full-time, 8:30am – 3:30pm
• £14.25 per hour (PAYE)
• Permanent position
• 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be a consistent, calming presence throughout the school day. The person who understands what makes this child tick, how to support them through challenges, and how to celebrate the wins, big or small. From learning support to emotional regulation, you’ll play a key role in helping them feel confident and included.

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Confidence managing behaviour and building strong relationships
• A patient, steady approach, even when things feel challenging
• Someone reliable, caring, and ready to commit long-term

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
