Learning Support Assistant

A respected 11–18 secondary school in Fenham, Newcastle is seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant to join the team immediately.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across KS3 and KS4

• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, ADHD, ASD and learning barriers

• Help pupils remain engaged and on task during lessons

• Adapt learning materials in collaboration with teachers

• Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions

• Promote positive behaviour in line with school policy

You will play a key role in ensuring pupils can access the curriculum and build confidence in their learning.
