We are working with a well-structured, inclusive 11–19 secondary school to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support pupils across KS3–KS5. The school has clear behaviour expectations, strong pastoral support and a commitment to helping all pupils access a broad, ambitious curriculum.
You will work closely with teachers and SEN/pastoral teams to provide classroom support, targeted interventions, and help pupils build confidence and independence.

Accessible Northumberland location with good transport links
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN or additional learning needs
Assist teachers in promoting engagement and understanding
Support pupils’ behavioural and emotional regulation
Help monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching/SEN staff
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture
Experience working with children/young people (education, youth work, care, tutoring)
Calm, patient and empathetic approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confident supporting behaviour and learning in a secondary setting
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
PAYE only — no umbrella companies
