I am recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant for a primary school in Waltham Forest. The school is a vibrant and successful school in the North East of London with approximately 700 children on roll. They're are seeking to employ an outstanding individual who is dedicated to inspiring learning outcomes for their diverse community. The schools has exceptional facilities including a modern building, extensive outdoor spaces and advanced ICT provision.

Term time only

The school is looking to appoint an additional highly motivated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work as part of their Specialist Resource Provision or supporting a child within the school with additional needs. The successful candidate will have had experience of working with SEN children and have excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills. The following skills and training will be beneficial,

Experience:

Supporting children with Autism, global developmental delay and sensory processing needs

Zones of regulation

TEEACH workstation system of learning

SCERTS

Bucket group/intensive interaction


Training:

Positive handling training

Intensive interaction training
