Job description
A school based in Wandsworth are currently looking for a mentor to join there fast growing team of staff as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new growing team with the vision to help and support young students in education.

The School is an alternative provision for primary students that have been dismissed from mainstream schools. These students have very challenging behaviour and suffer from social emotional and mental health (SEMH), anyone considering this role would need to be thick skinned and have high level of tolerance.

Main Duties:
• Supporting students with work set by the class teacher
• Helping with the behaviour management of the classroom
• Working with the teacher to assess pupils levels and ability
• Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
• Liaising with parents and carers
