Protocol are looking for experience support staff to join a new school that is due to open up in September 2021 and are currently in the process of expanding and developing. Every year the school introduce a new year group and have a 3 year plan to be at full capacity and fully staffed. As a new school they are looking to employ members of staff that can come in and be the foundation of the school, they offer great progression opportunities as they would hope to provide training and experience to staff with the aim to promote them to senior positions within the school. The school itself is for students that are currently not in mainstream education due to the various different needs they may have including challlenging behaviours, social emotiona mental health, speech and language difficulties and ADHD. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with students with special needs either in a mainstream school or a SEND school, they must also have the desire and the ambition to be part of the long term vision of the school and are keen to progress.

• Supporting students 1:1 with core subjects
• Assessing pupils levels and ability
• Differentiating work based on students needs and abilities
• Preparing, planning and marking work
• Behaviour management
• Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
• Liaising with parents and carers
