Job description
We are looking for Learning Support Assistants/Learning Mentors to join a school based in High Wycombe who are looking to work with young people with challenging behaviour, and complex learning difficulties. You will need to be flexible, resilient, honest and well organised, as well as committed to providing a high standard of childcare and to helping young people achieve the best possible outcomes.

This role is within a Pupil Referral Unit for students who struggle within Special Schools and need extra support. You will be expected to support a wide range of students with varying needs on a 1:1 basis. There will be aspects of personal care within the role - the ideal candidate would have experience in this alongside extremely challenging behaviours and Special Needs.

Applicants must have previous experience of working with challenging young people, preferably in a residential setting or school.
