Job description

We are currently recruiting Primary intervention specialists available for permanent, long term and day to day roles in Newham and Tower Hamlets.
• Are you a graduate looking to get a taste of work in a classroom?
• Maybe you're an experienced teaching assistant looking to specialise within the classroom?
• Are you available at least 2 days a week?

Applicants must have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
• A Degree Level Qualification in Childhood Studies, English, Maths, a Science or any core or educational topic.
• Understanding of new National Curriculum in mainstream Primary Schools
• A high standard of communication skills, accurate use of spelling and grammar
• Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn
• A passion for working with children and advocate of inclusive education
• Knowledge and Commitment to child Safeguarding

The role involves working 1:1 and within small groups with students in preperation for the SATs exams, working to class teachers low ability and extension plans and highlighting areas for improvement and monitoring within students under your tuition..
As an Intervention Support Assistant, you will have a desire to work with young people and aim to make a real difference to a child's life. Experience of working with Primary School aged children is desirable, and any extra training such as; Phonics or Safeguarding is highly desirable.

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Provide 2 year's worth of professional or academic references
