Job description
Protocol Education is looking for long term and daily agency staff to work in SEND schools and pupil referral units. This role is dedicated for those who want to inspire a young persons life for the better. In this modern time, pupils from ages from 11-16 go through so much and are left with no guidance. Without knowing the reason, it's easy to blame them. If you believe that all it takes is one person that can inspire someone and who generally cares about making a difference then this role is right for you.

This is the perfect position for anyone looking for a flexible job that works around you and have had or have relevant experience involving:

• Youth work
• Gang violence
• Social and emotional behaviour
• Sexual exploitation

The role will be challenging so you will need to be prepared. The right candidate will need to make a strong approach in handling challenging roles and be confident.

The ideal candidate will need to have a passion for working with youth, know how to handle tough situations and know how to resolve or deescalate situations in the correct and efficient manner. Someone who is resilient and with a strong work ethic towards their work.

To be considered for this role, you must have a good understanding of social emotional and mental health difficulties and how to implement education and care to young people with this need. You will need to have a positive approach as well as being patient with strong behaviour management skills. Mentoring/support work experience is desirable.

If this role is of interest to you, please send an updated CV to kirstie-jane.bracknell@protocol-education.com
