Learning & Behaviour Mentor Role

With children returning to schools over the next few months, there is the expectation that the disruptions caused by isolation and social distancing are going to create the need for strong behaviour mentors and role models in the classroom.

• Do you have an interest or experience working with children or young people who have displayed challenging behaviour?

• Do you understand children and young people from inner city Bradford and their social struggles?

• Do you have Team Teach, Approach or any other de-escalation techniques?

If you have answered yes to any of the questions above, then we would love to hear from you

Protocol Education are recruiting responsible, reliable role models to support children and young adults with Social Emotional Mental Health issues that display challenging behaviour, struggle with confidence and low self-esteem and require support academically.

Having experience working in schools is not essential but has its advantages. There are plenty of transferable skills from coaching/delivering sports, music or any other vocations which means there is plenty of opportunities to help make a difference without direct experience.
