Job description
Laboratory Manager - Durham

We are looking for a Laboratory Manager for a High school in the Durham area.

The successful Laboratory Manager will be working in the Science Department, assisting in the maintenance and provision of the science laboratories and resources and assuring a safe working environment for teachers and students. This role will also involve setting up the laboratories for science lesson experiments.

You will be managing a small team of technicians and duties will include preparing teaching resources, materials and equipment for lessons, supporting the class teacher an students during lessons, offering technical advice to staff and students, monitoring levels of materials and raising orders where necessary and inputting data onto the school's ICT systems.
