A secondary school in County Durham requires a KS3 nurture teacher to start ASAP to work on an ongoing basis until the end of the academic year 2021.
The successful candidate will be required to teach a year 8 SEND class, planning and delivering lessons for subjects across the curriculum.
The KS3 Nurture Group is a class based on the Theory and Practice of Nurture and linked to a KS2 Primary Curriculum model. The pupils have a high level of SEND needs and require individual planning to further their educational journey and make progress. The post would therefore be suitable for a primary qualified teacher.
The successful candidate will be a hardworking and highly skilled communicator. They will care about students' wellbeing and progress.
