KS2 Class Teacher – Watford

Protocol Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join a warm and supportive primary school in Watford from January 2026. This is a long term opportunity from January to July 2026 allowing you to make a meaningful impact in Key Stage 2.

You will work alongside an experienced full-time Teaching Assistant and a collaborative senior leadership team who value creativity, professionalism, and a strong sense of community. The school encourages staff to share ideas, innovate, and contribute fully to whole-school life.


Key Responsibilities of a KS2 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons for KS2 pupils

  • Differentiate learning to support a wide range of needs and abilities

  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, high expectations, and a commitment to outstanding education

  • Participate in ongoing CPD to develop excellent teaching practice

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community


What We’re Looking For in a KS2 Teacher:

  • QTS, ECT, FQT, PGCE – all qualified teachers are welcome to apply

  • Strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills

  • A passion for motivating and inspiring pupils during a crucial stage of their primary education

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
