Job description
A Leicester primary school has an a long term requirement for a KS2 Teacher to cover maternity leave commencing in November 2017. The school caters for approximately 400 pupils and has a great reputation for pupil development and achievement.

You will teach in a stimulating learning environment matching learning tasks to the age, ability and aptitude of individual pupils. You will utilise a range of resources to support quality first teaching and engaging learners in a variety of tasks and objectives. You will have a small learning support team and it is hoped that you will work closely them to ensure that every pupil makes progress academically and personally.

You will be a qualified teacher or NQT that can demonstrate consistently good/outstanding teaching and evidence commitment to professional development. You will be passionate about learning and teaching and display a warmth, sensitivity and care towards children.

You will have a great opportunity to inspire learners within this long term teaching post working 5 days a week until the end of the academic year. You will be involved in the broader school community and have an opportunity to be involved in a range of activities, school trips and CPD.
