Job description
Protocol Education is assisting a school in Scunthorpe recruit a teacher for a class of KS2 students. The school has had a recent change of leadership and the current head has a strong and clear vision for the school.

Children in the school are making good progress in line with national averages. With some committed and dedicated teachers the school can push children to achieve even more.

The school at its last inspection has been identified as requiring improvement. The leadership team and all the staff are striving to ensure that at the next inspection the receive a good. The school have been selective in recent recruitment. They need to make sure that teachers are aware of the needs of the school and they will also make a positive contribution to the schools success.

As a multicultural school in Scunthorpe it faces challenges however the children are responsive and keen to learn. They respond well to fun, engaging and stimulating lessons. You will have challenging days but will be rewarded by your successful teaching.

You must be a qualified primary teacher with one of the following qualifications: PGCE, GTP, Certificate of Education, BA with QTS, or an equivalent qualification from overseas with a certified NARIC assessment.

It is important you meet our vetting requirements, e.g. you must hold a current DBS which is registered with the update service or be prepared to apply for a new one and provide us with two recent references.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
