The Head teacher of this ethnically diverse primary school is searching for an enthusiastic and passionate KS2 teacher to join their school this September 2016

KS2 Teacher Specification

This KS2 Teacher position would suit a capable and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher who has a track record of 'Good' or better teacher and is able to motivate the class with their creative and engaging lessons. The perfect candidate will be able to encourage imaginative learning amongst their students and show exemplary understanding of the required curriculum.

About the KS2 Teacher Role

As a KS2 Teacher your role will involve you joining one of the school's KS2 classes as a general class teacher and you will be developing through plenty of training and Protocol CPD programmes. Part of your role will include delivering lessons day-to-day with the full support and help from a Graduate teaching assistant on hand to help you lead small groups of students and 1:1 sessions’. In this post you will be operating in a school overseen by a highly-skilled and enthusiastic Head Teacher who make all teachers feel valued and appreciated.

All applicants require

Have the legal right to work in the UK

Hold QTS or a UK recognized equivalent teaching qualification;

Be able to provide 2 references, covering a minimum 6 month period within the last year, from senior members of staff who have seen you teach.

Hold or be prepared for us to apply for a full DBS

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
