Here at Protocol Education we are seeking to appoint experienced KS2 Primary Teachers from the Barnsley area to join our successful supply team. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a lot of uncertainty for schools with many being in need of immediate staffing and assistance. We are here to support applicants who are eager to offer their passion and knowledge to the education sector, to source primary work on a flexible basis.

As a successful candidate you will:
•Hold a QTS or equivalent qualification.
•Have ample experience teaching KS2 primary education to a high standard and a relevant up to date knowledge on the National Curriculum.
•Have a passion for teaching and delivering inspiring lessons considering a wide variety of methods.
•Have an enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for a new one as well as provide two suitable references.
•Have a patient, understanding and knowledgeable approach to ensuring a smooth transition for KS2 children to their new junior' school environment and expectations set.
Key responsibilities:
•To understand the use for monitor, asses, record and report strategies for tracking all pupils progress and mirror this in your daily work.
•To ensure good teaching and classroom management.
•Communicating with parents, colleagues and other outside professionals to ensure tailored quality care and education is being delivered.
•To enable pupils with all the knowledge and resources they need to have an enjoyable and successful learning journey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
