Job description
An Outstanding' school in the West London borough of Hillingdon is seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in KS2, who has recently become a wheelchair user and therefore needs both practical and emotional support.

You will need to have the right balance of excellent behaviour management and a warm nurturing approach. An important part of the role will be to quickly build a positive relationship that inspires confidence and independence. You will be expected to take a lead with activities and interventions in areas such as maths and literacy in preparation for KS2 SATs; therefore it is essential that you are confident in these areas. This may either be from a strong education background or experience working in a similar setting.
