A special school academy for boys and girls from 5 - 11 years of age are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their team in view of taking their own class.

All children at the school have a statement of special educational needs and disability or an ECHP.

They work with three different local authorities in relation to the location of the students they have at the school.

The students have a diagnosis of autism, with some having hearing aids and speech and language difficulties. They need a teacher that is resilient and caring to provide a positive and nurturing environment. It is important all the children feel safe, loved, happy and respected.

The school community is highly supportive and training is easily accessible.

The successful candidate should have experience working with students in KS2 with behavioural needs. They must also have a clear DBS and hold QTS.
