KS2 SEN TA

We are currently seeking a KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Enfield.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs in the classroom, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and are able to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities will include supporting children with their learning and development, implementing individual education plans, providing one-to-one support when necessary, assisting with classroom management, promoting positive behavior, and working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the needs of all students are met.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with. Challenging children and be familiar with strategies and techniques to support their learning and behavior. They will have a patient and understanding approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements for the role include a relevant qualification in education or special educational need such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree in Special Education. Experience working with children with a range of special educational needs, including challenging behavior, is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
