Job description
A Leicester 4-11 primary school has a job for a KS2 teacher to start in August and work through to Christmas 2017. The school are rated good' by Ofsted and cater for c300 pupils. The school itself is a brilliant environment to work within and the leadership team provide a great deal of support to their supply staff.

As the KS2 teacher you will play a part in the learning and development of pupils across all KS2 year groups. You will work with the leadership team to devise and implement a creative and engaging curriculum catering for the needs and abilities of all pupils within the class. You will deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated lessons monitoring and supporting the overall progress and development of pupils. You will work closely with other teaching and learning support teams to promote a mutual understanding of the school curriculum with the aim of improving learning opportunities in the classroom.

You will be a qualified teacher that is able to demonstrate success in teaching at key stage twp. It is hoped that you will have a clear understanding of the new national curriculum and a solid understanding of letters, sounds, phonics development and quality first teaching and reading.

You will be rewarded with a long term post commencing in August with commitment from the school of work until Christmas 2017 at the very least. For more information on this post please contact the office or apply online.
