Job description
The Governors of a Chesterfield primary school are seeking to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner to join their hard working and friendly team. The post is to commence ideally from September 2016. The successful candidate will teach in lower key stage 2 alongside a variety of experienced and supportive colleagues.

The successful candidate will:

-Have a good knowledge and understanding of Key

Stage 2 curriculum

-Be organised, enthusiastic and determined to succeed

-Be committed to raising the quality of learning and teaching

for all children

-Be a good communicator

-Enjoy working collaboratively

-Be required to co-ordinate at least one subject area across the

school.

The school are fortunate enough to teach in brand new premises with a beautiful outlook onto Derbyshire. The school was placed in 'Requires Improvement' following an Ofsted visit in February 2015 and staff and Governors are currently working hard to return to ‘Ofsted Good’ as rapidly as possible. At this current moment the school are looking to appoint an experienced Teacher and this position would not be suitable for an Newly Qualified Teacher.
