Job description
Class Teacher with KS2 SATs experience required for Maternity Cover!

A friendly and forward thinking Primary school close to Uxbridge, in the West London borough of Hillingdon is looking for an experienced Primary teacher for a one/two term maternity cover in upper KS2.

In this role you will benefit from a warm and approachable senior leadership team, who understand the importance of work life balance and encourage a strong sense of community. You will be surrounded by an experienced and hardworking team during your time at the school, as well as new staff training and developing which helps to create a fluid atmosphere where any new faces are welcomed with a smile! You will share the planning and preparation with your year group colleagues, as the school is a four form entry so you will only be responsible for around a fourth of the overall workload, as well as having the opportunity to take your PPA time- off site if needed.

The school itself is spacious, light and airy with fantastic period features and a warm an inviting feel. Well-resourced the school has fantastic outside spaces and provides lots of exciting extra-curricular opportunities for students, helping them to develop not just academically but in all areas.
You will need to have experience of leading a class through their KS2 SATs as it is critical that you can hit the ground running in this cover to ensure that there is as little disruption as possible for the children and standards are maintained.
