Job description
Protocol Education are currently recruiting on behalf of an alternative Leicester School for an English Tutor working with KS2 to KS5 students.

To be successful for this role you must have previous experience in tutoring or teaching English to at least GCSE level in the UK.

We are able to offer an element of flexibility with working hours and days for the right person with the usual hours of work being Monday to Friday 2pm to 8pm with work also offered during the school holidays.

You can expect to be supporting students from KS2 to KS5 with exam help, confidence building, bridging the gap in attainment and progressing Gifted and Talented learners. You do not need to hold a teaching qualification to take on this position.

The contract is permanent and can be either part time or full time based on your flexibility and preferences. The salary for this role is £20,000 to £23,000 pro rata dependent upon experience. The position is available to start from September 2018 but can start earlier for the right candidate!

These roles would be ideal for teachers looking to move away from the hectic life as a full time teacher wanting to regain their work:life balance as all planning is provided and marking is done as you teach on site. These roles would also suit graduates looking to share their passion for their subject and looking to pursue a career in teaching without the need for a costly PGCE or QTS equivalent qualification.

I will be holding interviews for this role in the very near future and meeting with the main decision maker for these roles to present my shortlisted tutors to them. If you would like to have a discrete conversation about these roles please contact Harley on 0116 216 2122 where I can then book an interview slot for you to progress your application.
